Chiropractic Biophysics - Sole SupportersSole Supports are full contact custom orthotics, designed to maintain the function and health of our patient’s foot posture which assists your Chiropractic spine and posture rehabilitation program of care. Sole Supports are calibrated to flex for your body weight, while maintaining foot posture support. The foot is an engineering marvel and deserves to be treated like one.
If it Doesn’t Restore the Full Arch… It’s a Band-Aid. We don’t guess how much arch our patient’s feet need: our custom, precise casting process lets your foot tell us. This can only be accomplished with a true custom orthotic that captures the functional position of the arch in casting. Then we look at variables in body weight, foot flexibility and activity levels to calibrate the shell. The result: normal posture and function of the foot which sets the foundation for CBP Chiropractic spine and posture rehabilitation to then begin.
We’re not just trained in the use of Sole Supports Orthotics, we’re part of their team of instructors. This year, Dr. Deed Harrison joined forces with Sole Supports in order to assist in training other Doctors to meet and treat the growing number of patients with foot disorders and deformities.

ScoliBrace® is a unique scoliosis bracing method using the best corrective principles from other current bracing methods. Used in conjunction with 3D imaging software, BraceScan, scans of the patient are taken and the brace is customised to fit their unique measurements and needs.
By positioning the body and spine in their over-corrected or mirror image position, the ScoliBrace can have a super-corrective effect. Curve reductions are achieved in the majority of case, as well as improvements to rib humping, shoulder level and the overall appearance of the body.
Scoliosis is a 3 dimensional condition. Effective treatments need to be 3 dimensional too. ScoliBrace is created from 3D bodyscans in conjunction with x-rays and posture photos. Each brace is then designed using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and custom made.
ScoliBrace opens and closes at the front making it easy to wear and remove without assistance. There is a variety of colours and patterns available for patients to personalise the look of their brace.
Created by a group of medical practitioners expert in nutrition, Eurodiet is the first company to offer health professionals and their patients a novel method for the global management of excess weight and obesity: the Eurodiet Method.
Much more than plain dieting, the Eurodiet method enables global nutritional reprogramming under the supervision of a health professional.
Being supported by a health professional is essential for any nutritional rehabilitation and weight loss process. To start your programme: bring the topic up with your doctor or get in touch with us to know which Eurodiet trained practitioner is available near your home. He or she will use a set of innovative diagnostic tools to perform an extensive nutritional and behavioural assessment. The results will allow him or her to tailor your nutritional reprogramming to your personal needs. Your starting phase will depend on your health assessment, your target weight-loss, your body composition, your eating habits and, of course, your motivation. Throughout your programme, your doctor/health professional will be available to: • support you, • help you avoid dietary pitfalls, • monitor the satisfactory progression of your weight loss (lean mass preservation) • analyse the psychological factors involved in your weight-loss process. so that you may sustain your newly acquired good eating habits (and your weight loss!) in the long term.
Depending on the starting phase selected, your typical menu will include a variable number of high nutritional value, high-protein and low-carbohydrate products (to choose from a range of over 80 products) plus other ordinary foods that we will help you rediscover.Ordering products online is very easy: choose your products on our e-shop, fill in your order form and the products will be delivered to your home within 48 hours.
Sometimes, we unknowingly change our eating habits and behaviour to cope with certain emotions. Excess eating can thus become a way of managing emotions, stress or boredom, instead of being the normal answer to hunger it should be. Throughout your weight-loss programme, the support provided by your doctor/health professional will take these motivational and emotional factors into account. With the Eurodiet method, your doctor/health professional will help you achieve a set of objectives that are specific to each phase so that you gently acquire good eating habits.
Whether it’s an overworked muscle, a chronically achy back or the fitful discomfort of arthritis, pain affects millions of Americans every day. Biofreeze is a topical analgesic that uses the cooling effect of menthol, a natural pain reliever, to soothe minor muscle and joint pain. It penetrates quickly, offering relief through cold therapy. For this reason, it’s especially effective for use in conjunction with hands-on health care such as chiropractic, massage and physical therapies, and podiatry.
Joints put movement in our lives. They enable us to stand upright, walk and sit. There are hundreds of joints in the adult human body. Our Patient Education Center is focused on the body’s major ball-and-socket joints, like the shoulders and hips, and hinge joints, like the elbows, knees and ankles.
• Joints are the made up the connected ends of bones as well as ligaments, tendons, cartilage and synovial fluid: • Bones, specifically their articulated ends, make up the joint • Ligaments are short bands of tough fibrous connective tissue that function to connect one bone to another, forming the joint. • Tendons are made of elastic tissue and also play a key role in the functioning of joints. They connect muscle to bone. • Cartilage is a fibrous tissue that covers the bone surface and keeps the bones from rubbing directly against each other. • Synovial fluid lubricates joints so they can move freely. So the next time you throw a ball with your kids, raise a glass for a toast or sit down for a long conversation with a friend, thank your joints. Healthy joints mean we can do all the activities we love, with freedom of movement and without pain. And that’s what this Patient Education Center is all about.
Your knee is made up of two main bones, the thigh bone, or femur, and lower leg bone, or tibia. These bones are held together by four main ligaments: the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), lateral collateral ligament (LCL) and medial collateral ligament (MCL). The meniscus is the rubbery cartilage that sits between these bones. When you step down, the meniscus acts as a shock absorber between the thigh bone, or femur, and the leg bone, or tibia. The bones come together to form a joint. It is at this joint that the bones move over one another to allow you to move about and move your body. At this joint the bones are lined with a hard substance called cartilage. The patella is a disk shaped bone in the front of your knee. Your patella is attached to your tibia bone by a tendon called the patellar tendon. The kneecap also attaches to the quadriceps muscles which are the large muscles in the front of your thigh. The patellar tendon, quadriceps, and other soft tissue surround the patella in what we call a soft tissue envelope. Normally this soft tissue envelope is well balanced and strong allowing your knee to function without pain.Normally your patella rides smoothly in a groove at the end of your thigh bone, or femur, when you bend and straighten your knee. The vastus medialis obliquus, or VMO, is important in maintaining this normal patellar movement and allowing balance of the soft tissue envelope around the patella. The movement of the patella in this groove at the end of the femur is called patellar tracking.

Self-myofascial release, also known as “foam rolling,” has transformed from a once mysterious technique used only by professional athletes, coaches, and therapists to a familiar everyday practice for people at all levels of fitness. Recent information, technology, and affordable products have introduced an increasing array of training and recovery methods to the average person. Self-myofascial release is a fancy term for self-massage to release muscle tightness or trigger points. This method can be performed with a foam roller, lacrosse ball, Theracane, or your own hands. By applying pressure to specific points on your body you are able to aid in the recovery of muscles and assist in returning them to normal function. Normal function means your muscles are elastic, healthy, and ready to perform at a moment’s notice.
Using a foam roller is essentially a more affordable way to give yourself a deep tissue massage. By slowing rolling over various areas of your body, you›ll help break up adhesions and scar tissue and speed up the healing and recovery process after your workout.Use it to loosen up common areas of tightness such as your outer thigh (iliotibial band, ITB), quadriceps, or upper back. Here›s how: Position yourself on top of the roll and use the weight of your body to slowly roll back and forth over it (as if you›re using a rolling pin to roll out some dough). Try not to use your arms for support, but allow your bodyweight to relax (as much as possible) over the roll.Foam rollers work by using the body›s natural response to pressure. As you roll over tight spots or trigger points, the muscle relaxes. For especially tight spots, applying constant pressure might work better than rolling back and forth.
The TP Massage Ball is a great choice for targeted relief. It’s easy to apply pressure directly to the point where discomfort is felt by using the floor, wall or any hard surface to stabilize the ball. For best results, build pressure and then roll the TP Massage Ball from side to side or in circles to release knots and kinks. Great as a quick pre-workout warm up or anytime you need relief.

The pain and discomfort of muscle injuries can be eased and treated with ice therapy. Ice therapy can be applied to the muscle with a wrap with cooler, reusable hot/cold therapy pack, an instant ice pack or an ice bag. Injuries to the shoulder which result in pain and swelling can be controlled with ice packs and ice wraps which can speed up recovery from a wide range of sports injuries, including a shoulder injury, a collar bone injury as well as following surgery. Instant ice packs, deep freeze cold patches and cold bandages are perfect for the immediate relief of minor injuries, such as sprains, strains and bruises from sports like boxing, tennis and rugby which rely on a lot of movement in the shoulder.
