Follow up X-rays show continual correction and improvement of the shape of the spine. Note that the neck should have a lordotic (backwards) curvature measuring 42 degrees. In the first X-ray pictured on the left, we see significant loss of this normal curvature. This results in an increased likelihood of chronic neck pain, headaches and degenerative joint disease.
